Howdy,

Just wanted to know what people thought when they wacked in a Phoon airbox in place of the stock turbs one.

Was there a noticeable increase?

Worth the spend?

Where can I get one for a decent price?

Cheers in advance.

My brothers XR6T has a K&N filter and an SS induction snorkel. He bought the 2nd air intake off an F6 on ebay for 50ish, cut the box and fitted it. Didn't notice much but as he siad it can't hurt it...

That's not the answer I was hoping for :D . Gee, with a K&N, SS induction and the secondary intake, I would have thought there would have been some noticeable improvement.

To be honest they already have 240kw so you probably won't notice another couple. Take it out for a drive on a chilly night, there's a good performance boost :)

Well I guess you find there's not much restriction there then. But seriously for $50 what are you expecting?

I fitted a phoon intake to my XT and expected nothing, but it seems to go a bit better, more responcive and all that.

I'd rather use a Dose pipe and Bellmouth compared to a typhoon airbox. And I'm not joking about that either.

ive got a small piece of alloy pipe, bent at 75deg from the turbo to a custom alloy air box housing a k & n pod, made s**t of difference especially up top, but now my car sounds like a stupid vl with dose you can hear for kilometers.
