What do people advise for a bottom end for a Turbo EL producing around 350rwkw?
I am doing a couple more mods which will allow me to produce 350 - 375rwkw but i am looking to strengthen up the bottom end so it remains reliable. I've heard ACL are a good upgrade but not reccomended for Turbo set-ups? Also that AU rods and pistons are stronger?

Hiya Aaron.
Good to see you back and posting, and playing with the car Have you tried giving Mark, from It's Performance a call? He has built a VERY strong bottom end for my EF. His pricing is very reasonable too. BTW, What injectors and engine management are you running in your EL?

Do you have contact details for "It's performance"?
Computer is Wolf 3D. Bosch 650hp fuel pump feeds through a malpassi rising rate fuel reg though, not sure on injector details though.

What turbo are you using to get 309kw? and what boost pressure?
Yeah, the BA turbo pistons are proving themselves to be very capable |

Nice turbo Pyroay Thanks, i wanted one that would last, had ro9ller bearings and spolled up as quickly and smoothly as possible and would still produce the power i was looking for. I was only chasing a quick daily driver, not a horsepower hero so i'm happy with the final result.

No has not been in street machine yet. I spoke with Simon from SM the other day and we will shoot it to go in an issue later in the year arund September as there is an EL in the next issue (JETXR) No not from canbera, Traralgon in Vic No quarter mile times, not a fan, i much prefer track racing, and have done Phillip Insland in under 2min which is great fun.

I took it to Calder Park once but it had a blown piston so was running on 5 cyclinders and some mates said to give it a whirl anyway.
Consequently more dammage resulted and i only ran 13's on 5cyc and street tyres. When i mention the times everyone starts asking why not better times and i then have to explain the whole story. Sorry i should have been clearer.
