Hey,

I am wondering what power expectation I will get in a EA running a completely rebuilt EF-AU motor??

Car is as follows: Wade Cam 977B, 3 inch exhaust, Walbro fuel pump, 42lb injectors, 600x300 intercooler, J3 tune with EL ECU, not sure on which turbo yet however, I am chasing around 190-240rwkw, I am after low to mid range power in the RPM range so what turbo do you recommend? And is this realistic?

Thank You in Advance.

I had a au xr6 engine in my ed, with 60lb injectors, walbro fuel pump, 3" exhaust, ems ecu, 6boost manifold with garret turbo and it made 267rwkw @12psi...

H,
Sorry I forgot to mention that the engine is stock internal.
I don't mind using a shim plate to lower compression

mine was a stock bottom end , stock head, running factory compression..i even ran boost up to 18psi at times.
imo no need to decompess it. just make sure you get a good dyno tuner to tune it.

Ok thank you for that. What Quarter mile time would we be looking at with around 250rwkw? , Car is a 4 speed with 3.08 diff gears.

What turbo size flange should I be getting on my manifold T3 or T4?? , I am thinking of a GT35 but I wouldn't mind something a little bigger....What do you think?

you should run mid 12s to low 13s, I was running the btr with 3.45 gears and got a best time 12.5@ 113mph..

I was running a old school garret t04E, but you should be able to get the same results using a gt35,

I have an EL with the std EL hybrid motor, 250,000ks, twin tiny turbos at 14-16psi ran up 370rwhp and 12.2 quarter mile this is on E85. This is with 3.08 diff gears. only thing i did to the motor was valve springs and ECU.

{DESCRIPTION}

be aware that the au motors have weak rods, so your better off using an earlier bottom end. Also check the overlap on the cam, it might have too much overlap for boosted app.

Ok Thank you for that.

How much will the 42lb injectors handle?

I am still unsure if I should get the T3 or T4 turbo flange....Any advice

I will be using an EF motor due to the stronger rods

on pump fuel around 360 hp at the engine. really better off with some 65 or 85 injectors

flange wise, prob go t3 and use a BA/BF 3540 or 3582r off an FG

The B series turbo's are an internally gated version of the Gt3582r, otherwise known as a 3540.
