Mate, it needs a BIGGER HOLE to go hard, something 3" and 3" metal cat will wake it all up. Very strongly recommended, 2.5" is WAY undersize and restricts the power big time

A must do mod for best results

So 3" exhaust recomended for supercharged 6's?
Yeah, 2.5 was good for N/A.

Steady ED

We have never released one (although did offer the info at a price), the results the charger gives tell the true story and with 6 yrs of sales behind us now its performance credentials have been established. Also users in the USA are already commenting that the V in its class is extremely competitive (price and efficiency) and USA is home of the supercharger!! We would get no foot in the door if product did not clearly outperform what the end user had previously.

We will continue as we have, producing kits that are DIY, powerful, reliable and fully sorted to provide maximum satisfaction to the car modder. Also importantly we provide you all with another option and competitor in the market place which is best for the customer. Furthermore expect to recieve the best customer service (no arrogance, belittling or other behavior) and most prompt response to emails

Vortech'd Spring > Raptor'd EB XR8

asking if a compressor map is available is considered tyre kicking?
doing research is called smart.

In this case it wasn't either... it was s**t, or do you call it trolling here? LOL

Tocchi, With those injectors, it's all where the nozzles are positioned to spray, the valves. using xr6t ones mean thy're spraying either side of the valve. I was told the same thing by you from an EFI centre and from a tuner in Perth. (no names mentioned)

It was a genuine question, I think if you are going to make a comment such as...
{USERNAME} wrote:
With an ultra high speed Gear Drive in Raptor V all other superchargers in this class could not compete .... end of story. The impeller and cover are that good.

...you should have some cold hard facts to back it up.
I asked the question, I got the reply, if you've got a problem with it, don't read it.

BUT lets not the truth get in the way of a good hype up

Mate good for you, its just something i read in another thread about you whining about not getting a compressor map.

BUT you are right it is called smart research, thing is you already have a vortech dont you.......

I have nothing to hide im not trying to defend the raptor till death i will just let the facts do the talking, when more poeple get these on and dyno and blah blah blah we will see.

Does it hurt to follow OR help an aussie made product?......

As I said before ...a product doesn't prove itself until people are game enough to give it a go.

I personally think that CAPA will cop a bit of a hiding once the Raptors start appearing on more cars.

Out of interest RAPTOR_XR8, how's yours going now? Has the whine died down a little now? How are you finding it overall? Any plans with intercooling / more boost etc?
