Okay new plugs are in and guess what it didnt missfire at all(i had gapped the new plugs), i knew that was the problem NOT a lean mixture.

I also removed my fmu and the car actually goes a little harder now, timing is still set to just above 20* and no sign of detonation i will set it higher later to test .(tested at 5psi)

I am going to get a new coil as mine is looking a little used.

My radiator has now also decided to crap itself too so...

its going harder without the FMU as it is leaning out on boost, the FMU is there so it doesnt lean out on boost damaging the motor

Mate i know it sounds weird but no pinging no histrionics nuthin.

Smooth power , spins the wheels ...

Without the fmu there its harder off the line doesnt surge when you quickly hit the throttle.

Yeah im gonna piss the fmu off and get 24lb injectors with an au maf, no big plans for huge power just around the 180 to 200rwkw range.

I think those injectors will suite that level i dont want to go to big just big enough.

Will be put on a dyno to see whats happening because its pissing me off hard.

When the car was making 4psi it went pretty hard and i was shocked that it was that good at 4psi, when i upgraded the inlet to blower to 3'' and the outlet it made 8.5psi @ around 5500rpm.

If i change 1st to 2nd gear @5500rpm the boost drops to just over 5psi in 2nd and builds real quick from there.

Im hanging in but it will just take some time.

I think i have found my problem a dying walbro fuel pump.

I wonder why the car would stop when it hit just under quarter of a tank, even tho i could hear the pump whine its a*** off i thought i was low on fuel WELL....

I checked it and there was sure enough quarter of a tank left, i think i havent installed it low enough into the tank plus i had the sock filter pointing up.

I have since turned it around and put a longer fuel hose on it- doesnt stall at quarter of a tank no more, i am curious as i have had the fuel pump like this for quit some time and it has run outta juice a fair bit - thought it was a faulty sender from the tank but nope shes working fine-.

My question is can this lead to low fuel pressure output from the pump due to no fuel keeping it cool enough......?

Auto has finaly decided it doenst want to go into reverse.

A few nights ago i was driving home from mum and dads, just as i got the car onto my street it sort of sounded like grinding.

Took the car out last night and it felt like it was slipping but not ?
i left the car in 3rd as it waited like 10 sec after it should have changed into 4th and when it did it clunked.

Was about to leave and i couldnt get reverse just free revved like in neutral.

I think maybe the c3 clutch and b2 band are rooted...

Anyone that nows about these spastic things?....

Cost me $3500 for the auto to be rebuilt to handle the grunt......

I'd be looking for another 2nd hand auto or perhaps a C4.

What tricks did you do to that box because thats more than what it cost me to supercharge it.

Must be made of gold aye.

i just want a simple rebuild i wont be chasing power like everyone else(i know how silly that sounds but thats the truth)

Kevlar bands, incresed line pressure and also quite a bit of swapping with everything, apparently beefed up to XR6T specs.

Very firm shifts, instant response and will handle 600hp reliably, plus they were on of two mobs that would offer a warranty, all the others said nope with a worked motor.
