Hi would just like to know if anyone has heared of this brand Raptor V superchargers, they flow 750 cfm and are good for 600 hp and 10psi.

Link http://www.raptorsc.com.au/products.php

Okay plan is to get this , make my own bracket etc.

I will run on 10 psi, know will this actually be 10psi in the intake manifold.
Also fuel system, aim is for around 210-250rwkw what will i need.

I was thinking walbro pump 500hp, rising rate reg and a tune.

All of this is going on a eb2 xr8 auto
mods done are diff, full exhaust and elec shiftkit.

I was planning to purchase a raptor to supercharge my car. I have seen a V6 commo with one in the flesh. Looks the goods but recently they've upped the price to $2500 (was $2200 gst inc) and that little bit was enough for me to purchase a vortech as they are a bit more tried and trusted and better on the reliability side due to oil lines.

Saying that the commo hammered well, that put out 190 rwkw's with a aftermarket ecu, roller rockers and a bit of port work in a VN 5 speed.

For the blower, the walbro pump and rising rate reg is required. You may need to upgrade your MAF as well and possibly the throttle body as well. You will need larger injectors too as the 19lbs are just too small. Can get away with 24 lbs but ideally 30lb's are better.

Good Luck.

Good stuff, it'll be interesting to say the least!

What sort of boost is it running, and what size MAF did you go for?

Which components did you get?

How much did it set you back?

I have been looking into doing this for quite some time, but have never had any first hand info from people using a raptor SC. Would be nice to know exactly what you used and how much $$

:)

I havent given it to much yet as im running it in but i have been through the Royal National Park and she sounds great.

Feels alittle more torquey than usual but apart from that it all runs smooth like standard.

Everything is R and D at the moment so i dont want to let too much out, Raptors are unproven at the moment on a falcon though this should change opinions. Nothing earth shattering but an alternative to CRAPPA, aiming for atleast 170 rwkw no cooler.

Unfortunately it is not a drop in kit or anything like that its just my backyard mechanics at work, the only thing i couldnt do was weld which was taken care of.

Video later.

Well i have been driving her alot and noticed with the 12:1 reg it just goes right out the exhaust pipe.

Car feels flat when its hot during the day but at night boy it flies, am looking to go to a lesser reg. I was at my g/f's parents property i stalled it up alittle and gunned it leaving two nice long marks down the road.

Have tried to load up a video but its too big, also need a new boost gauge as my crap speco one doesnt go past 0 vacuume( no belt slip, def making boost as a few pple can attest to- big clouds of black outta the zorst).

If you think you are running 10 PSI boost you will need an intercooler.
