With boost added the RR starts to add pressure to the system, so you end up with 43.5 + RR. ok so the rr goes before the stock one and the stock reg stays where it is.... can someone draw a pic so i know what im ment to do. ive been googleing and searching and cant find what i need...

what do I do with the vac hoses for the refs? Do both the stnd and the rising reg need boost or vac?

I think you can do it a couple of ways.
Std reg before blower (vac only), and RR after blower (vac & boost) Or both after blower (Vac & boost to both) I don't see either making way making much of a difference. Both after blower is easier as you can just tee off the same line. |

Hey guys I was wondering something else with my RR Fuel Reg. I'm pretty sure this is how it goes but could you confirm ??
I marked on the two pipes the inlet and outlet of fuel. The one on the right IN is a bit higher. The one on the left OUT is a bit lower. Correct? Also what would you guys be setting the initial PSI to?? Cheers |

Don't know about the in/out on that one, but on other RR's it's in on the side and out at the bottom.
EL XR6 FPR is 300 kPa (43.5 PSI) @ WOT, and 250 kPa (32PSI) @ idle |

Carnt u just run standard ba injectors aslong as there blue there the turbo ones? They just use different fuel pressure to make em flow more and wouldn't u put the rising rate reg were the old reg goes and remove it as it would do nothing different as its still goes threw the standard reg? Sounds wrong to me I'm turbocharging my car I haven't got a clue about how the reg works but just sounds wrong

Depending in the combo you might be able to get away with high pressure through STD injectors, or you might need bigger injectors. There are many ways to do it and it often comes down to the preference of the tuner you use.The standard reg controls pressure from Max VAC to zero,then the RR increases pressure with boost on top of the base pressure set by the standard reg. |

Get an after market ECU or an SCT Chip, B Series Turbo fuel reg, AU Fuel rail, Walbro Pump and at least 42lb injectors. Then tune it properly. |

interested in the injectors n ecu mate thnx and ok haha and haven't really got someone to dyno my car yet not sure who to use? I only want to run around 8-10psi though nothing crazy
Does anyone no where to best to get dyno done dandenong area will drive abit for a better tune And on a good note I brought a high energy turbocharged sump today just need intercooler done and tune thnx for answering my fuel reg question 2 still dnt get it but haha I just dnt c how it would do anything if its before the standard reg maybe put it on return line fuk nose just sounds wrong cheers |

Hello sorry to bum this thread but did someone suggest using a BA fuel rail and FPR? can ya run this direct fit on an N/A id prep for a turbo?

You can use an AU or BA fuel rail on an EF/EL. The AU takes the BA fuel reg and this means you can use the BA XR6 Turbo fuel reg. Great this with the AU rail is that the 300kpa fuel regs are still available from Ford, or they were till recently. BA rail is easier to change the reg on. Not sure that a that a Turbo reg will be ok on NA, but maybe someone can confirm that. BA NA fuel reg should be fine for an EF/EL NA. |
