Just wondering if anyone knows if snort's st 2 kit is any good. I've never turbo'd a car before so im gonna need some advice. I want a turbo for every day use, that sounds good and gives me boost. Im not sure if the internal wastegate sounds as good as an external but these are some of the things i need to know.

Nah bugger the liquid cooled cooler just get the front mount save time and money does the job just as well and looks cool.I have the stage 3 with the external gate. The internal gate has a 6 psi spring and the external has a 9 psi spring. babf and fg turbos all have internal wastegates. Geoff is great to deal with he's kinda down to earth if that makes sense.
Would be a good buy. my mates au xr6 ute has the external gate and atm he is pushing 300rwkw. All he used was a dual stage boost controller to bump the boost up a bit and man does it boogy so you'll easily be able to make the power you want with the internal gate

hey, can u guys tell me if that buying that kit is all u need to get if u had an AU XR6. like is it absolutely necessary to upgrade ya fuel system (injecters and all) where do u get them from?

Yeh u do need to upgrade the fuel system.
A rising rate fuel pressure reg comes with the snort kit but you'll need larger injectors and perhaps a fuel pump.

Im using a walbro 255l ph intank pump as a lift pump into a 2ltr surge tank with a bosch 044 fuel pump a rising rate fuel pressure reg and ford motorsport 42 lbs/h injectors in my ef turbo

I've got that same kit on my ED project car, made 239rwkw at 10psi, I'm thinking of selling it, for bigger mods, asking $1950, kit is 3 months old, blow off valve, and fuel reg never used, might save u a few bucks for ur intercooler pipes, injectors,etc
