Hey all. As some of you may know i am in the process of rebuilding my engine due to dropping an inlet valve and have decided to turbocharge it. So i thought why not start a thread here about it.

So far i have;
- Bf XR6T Piston and Rods
- ACL 1.6mm Copper head gasked
- ACL race series bearings.
- GCG Gt3540r Turbo
- Tial 44mm Wastegate.

I am slowly building it all up and hoping to have it all together by this time next year

Cheers Andrew

i would only go ba rods if u by the after market ones e.g. argo, atomic eagle.

if your going to do a full rebuild do not use that 1.6mm copper gasket s**t! work out how much compressing u want and get custom pistons with the right dish volume. or 3.9l 11cc pistons may work out ok. then use a normal au mls gasket.

rest is ok, but there is till alot more things u need to think about like fuel upgrades, after market ecu, exhaust intercooler........

how much power do u want? i would be happy to stick with preped stock rods 3.9l acl pistons for anything under 350rwkw

This time next year? Sounds like one of my projects. :)

Aftermarket rods and pistons ftw.
