What boost are you planning on running. Well the max fuel pressure you really want to run is around 70psi which means the injectors flow around 25lb which will get you to around 230-240kw or maybe 200rwkw max. If you do go ahead with it maybe set it to around 6psi boost and make sure you get it dynoed to check AF ratios, then once you have th efuel system you can bump the boost up.

Yep, as said above... 180wkws seems to be the max. But dont be a tight a***... get the injectors, pump and new ecu or it'll just die very soon

It will die from detonation. You'll end up breaking rings and big end bearings. One thing Ive found from turboing the ford sixes is that detonation is hard to hear. Ive had plenty of turbo fours and you can allways hear the slightest of detonation... these big motors seem to mask the noises.
I find the best way ( on the road ) to hear minor detonating is on the freeway driving next to the barrier.... amke the motor pull from low revs in top gear and thats when you will hear it... if your hearing detonation on a normal "power" drive then its allready doing damage

Im running standard injectors and ecu with my stage 4 snort kit and Im getting 10 psi with a 12:1 rising rate reg and 255 walbro pump. Mind you I change head gaskets more often than I change my socks. Its getting the EMS and 42lb injectors fitted soon so that'll be a thing of the past.

one of the best devices ive seen for hearing detonation is the knockbox, it uses a knock sensor screwed to the block, and hooks up to some headphones, you can hear everything with them...
