Hi guys,

i know this is alittle general of me, but im thinkin of turbocharging my EF 4ltr. now im not sure what involved in the department of engine rebuilding and strengthening, ive been told that runnin on low boost 4- 6psi no engine work is needed, im lookin at a kit from Snort Performance Australia which includes:

1 x full custom s/steel tuned length turbo manifold
1 x 40mm polished wastegate
1 x Garrett to4e turbocharger (rated over 500hp)
1 x super billet b.o.v
1 x boost reference fuel regulator
1 x front mount intercooler (core size 600x300x76)
3 inch s/steel dump pipe with o2 sensor bung
1 1/2 inch s/steel screamer pipe (from wastegate)
Teflon braided oil feed lines, vclamps, oil sender t
Teflon oil drain lines gaskets and fittings
3 inch pod filter

now with all that included, what else would i need.

cheers in advance guys.

Hwy man
if you want strength you`ll need pistons and conrods as well,
and it also depends on how much power you want to make.
im currently doin my ea turbo, but ive done nearly everything, custom pistons, argo conrods,my cranks been done, stainless steel valves, and there over sized, valve springs, headwork cam, injector, my designing my own plenum now and i have a snort manifold, but once im done i want 600rwkw. so fidure out wat you want to make.

Right at the top of this page is a sticky (some call it a bible) and has most of the info you need with pics.

You will need Inlet piping to mount up the intercooler with elbows. Its also all the little things like intercooler brackets and possibly an AU headgasket and maybe even some sort of ECU management like a unichip, megasquirt, etc.
