Howdy all

I was just needing to know how much of a pain is it going to be to fit a oem ba turbo intercooler in to a ea

Got a bit of a worry due to the way the cooler has a pipe on each end but one on the top corner and other on the bottom opposite corner will this be a issue fitting it ?

considering how many people have put turbo's into their E series ...... i doubt it. main pain would be fitting up pipe. couple of people on here have fitted turbo's. checkout the garage section

I have helped fit a stock BA Intercooler to an AU XR6 and it worked after some fiddling and cutting.

It could fit on an E series but not 100% sure. If you can get hold of one it wouldn't take much to see if it will work. You would need to relocate the battery for this one though.

I got one for $30 but the cost savings down now due to the battery relocation

I'm running a aftermarket intake manifold log style so no cross over pipe which can make it a bit easier i reckon

It's just one pipe is 180 degrees oopposite facing

If not using the crossover then fit an aftermarket intercooler as it will be much simpler. Factory ones are small anyway. One of the first things the Turbo guys upgrade.

There are plenty of cheap Front Mount intercoolers around.
