Went on Holidays the other week and took the Mustang.

Anyways on the way home it rained all the way about a 4-5 hour drive and the car leaks in various places.

Next few days at work i accidentally left the windows up and moisture has gotten into everything.

after that i was trying to make the 2nd gear take off stally thing but did not have success just kept going to limp mode.

Next thing driving home in the dark i tried my High beams and all dash lights would cut out and the car would drop back to third gear.

So i thought why dont i stop put it in first gear and also hit the high beams which makes it select 3rd gear even when i stop, and now i can stall it up in 3rd gear and get boost to come on then let go of the highbeam and it drops back to first for an awesome launch.

Now im not sure why this would be happening but i like it.. who needs high beams

Sorry to say, rewire your whole car. You drive a nice classic with a retrofit engine, sounds healthy otherwise. Spend up and rewire it properly, seal it all off properly and anything hidden, in guards or through panels has to be insulated and grommeted properly

I would like to Re-wire the car but dont have the time or money to do so.
The ultimate thing to do is get rid of all the falcon wiring and just run an original loom with my ems and get a c4 aswell but that does cost a fair bit.

I might fix this problem after i goto the drags next.
