what you need to do to the engine depends on what boost you want to run, and how your going to drive it, and how much your willing to spend
your going to need a biger fuel pump, bigger exhaust 3" or bigger, extractors high flow cat etc.., bigger injectors and either a chip and custom tune or an aftermarket computer and tune
then you need the supercharger kit plus depending on what power you want to make with the charger some of the above mentioned will be more expensive as the fuel pump size may need to be bigger thenthe price is diferent, you may need a 3.5 inch exhaust, huge injectors,

and we arent even talking about building an engine yet which the price is never ending for a bullet proof bottom end depending how reliable you want it, you may also want a cnc ported head with a cam to match all engine specs, bigger valves etc
and how will the diff and gear box handle the power?

well a track car for skids and stuff will more than likely benefit from better than factory cooling system aswell... you wont do to many skids reliably on 15psi for less than 10k. have you looked into turbo kits? you could probs get a decent setup and tuned at 15psi for less than 12k

if you wanna do track car or burnouts youll be caining it constantly so youl want a decent diff gearbox engine cooling system and all the rest that goes with it for 15 psi
8 grand will dissapear fast man

what type of supercharger are you looking at??

you will need to overdrive the a** out of it to make 15psi...

power generally depends on set up...

+1, but that depends on which flux capacitors you run and how many

the good thing about those flux capacitors is u dont have to factor in fuel costs to the day .
just find the nearest bin
from memory banana skins have the highest octane :P

i reckon u a turbo would suit your budgetvs psi better
i also think youd spend that 10k just on the s/c and s/c upgrades.
dont get me wrong i love the sound of a supercharger just as much as the next hoon but i would double your budget and prepare to get ate by ebay turbo kits.

First step. stop dreaming. Now that is done, revise your budget if you want reliability.

He's 18...we all were once 18 and had dreams...may it be supercharged V8s or getting laid, but yeah, I agree, you need a bigger budget or reduce your dreams to something less.

For 8K you can get a low PSI set up that may be reliable...depending where you skip costs.
