Some autos will be fine and some will die in the a***. When I had the EB long ago my auto was stock with 300,000kms on it. I had no tranny cooler and just an electronic shift kits and it lasted 6 or so months being driven hard before the piston rings went and I sold the car. I had 202rwkw at 10psi with a turbo setup.

Here's a pic of an STA blower on an ED xr6 (Swoopa from ford forums, not sure if he's a member here).

I would reccommend an aftermarket ECU on any power up...

with a vortech, yes it would be pretty obvious, you will have a supercharge whine noise, however on a powerdyne people would be none the wiser basically.

Depends on the blower, the Powerdynes are silent while the Vortech's generally have a whine (The Vortech V2 SQ's are suppose to also be silent but many are still noticable, mine is for sure).

Most notable sound with the powerdyne is the noise created by the extra belt and extra idler pulleys.

I'd be a little concerned if the unit itself was wining.

And you'll probably be a little wiser if the falcon happens to let a sneeze from the BOV right in front of you ;)

I wouldn;t say the powerdynes are "silent". You can still definately hear them quite easily at idle and at low RPM. When your driving though it's not as noticable.

I was bloody shocked at how loud mine was when i first fired her up to run it in!
It is only a V1 S-Trim, not a V2 SQ or anything.
I love the sound of it, but it is a little loud...
So there is definately no hiding it from other people.....

:D Yes the V1's aren't subtle at all are they, you can hear them for miles at idle.

Lol - that's "the good stuff" dave. Yeah the V2's have the super quiet system... the V1's have the classic blower whine. And it's DAMN loud, lol.

It's a beautiful sound tho.
