Yeah i must admit i love the sound of it, but at idle, i just couldn't believe exactly how loud it was.
So much for me ever sneaking out the court i live in anymore!!!
I'm just waiting to see how it sounds when its running at more than 2,000rpm. (It's in getting the ECU put in and tuned!!!) :D Its about bloody time too!

*Touch wood* all goes well when its getting tuned, but just wanted to say thanks again to all the guys on here, who helped get me this far, and everywhere else in between!

Cheers guys

Dave

I've seen 270wkws on a stock motor, cant see why 350wkws wouldnt be possible

Thats pretty good power, i would think that stock motor would've lasted long pumping out 270rwkw??

Yeah, prolly dead now...
"EB six on boost" has 270 odd on his stock high kay motor, has so for a year or so without dramas... as long as the tune is VERY good a good stocker can make and take that sort of power. Thers also a guy in VIC doing 10s on a stock motor, thats gotta be 300wkws... both turbos though, but wether that makes a difference is debatable

Damn!!!
I am only hoping for 200-240.
I reckon 240 will probably kill the T5, but hopefully the motor is all good.
Although i want to play on the side of more caution than more power!

240 makes for a fun ride... easy 12s and dam fast on the street. it'll keep you smiling for awhile... until you get used to it

Well I am looking into a low boost kit for the ute.
Seeing as I am running a factory dedicated LPG system I don't think i have an issue with needing to decompress the head.

I just want more low-down torque for work purposes ... seeing as the AUII EGAS is a bit of a dog under load.

Also I would like to have more power as well ... I am still restricted by the thorrle body restrictor ring that the LPG system uses.

Have been told that I don't really need an aftermarket ECU for the setup i want ... will need to run the LPG system on Closed Loop at all times though (have been told this).

I have heard that Snort Performance is bringing out a low-boost S/C kit soon ... as far as I know it will be a fair bit cheaper than the CAPA kits as well.

Now to save up the cash.

(its not fair)240 is the highest i'm hoping to achieve but i don't know whether i will be anywhere near it or not!
I wouldn't have even thought 240 would be in the 12's...
Good if you reckon it should be though!
I've always said a 13 sec street car, is more than quick enough, but some of damn cars do that out the factory these days! :( (its not fair!)

BTW Chef, how is your car going, with the turbo setup, have you broken anything yet and if you dont mind me asking, have you got any times for it yet?
