with that much pressure i would "assume" a full re-build of your motor would need to be done with stronger internals!

i think that you will find that the capa kits will run 15psi.... the vortech stage 3 kit will, but requires and intercooler. CAPA can do custom kits depending on what your requirments are

It's just a matter of changing the pulley on the supercharger to get more boost.

10psi from a vortech would haul a** in an ED.

10PSI with intercooled vortech would see you in to the high 13's at a guess? maybe 13.9?

Quicker than that IMO. My powerdyne @ 7.5psi is good for roughly 14flat... an I6 @ 10psi should comfortably do mid 13s.

Looks like CAPA only does powerdynes for the ED inline 6...

$6k

Unless you can figure out how to fit the EF/EL kits, can get a vortech up to 14psi... $8k

and 15psi is fine on a HEALTHY stock motor. Just make sure have your aftermarket ecu/500+cc injectors/big pump tuned PERFECTLY

Yes. There's a few stock motors running around 1 bar without any dramas. But there's heaps more guys that have killed stock motors with less boost.

Tuning is the only thing that will keep the motor in good health. If it leans and detonates, even if you can't hear it, it will die soon.

Dont overlook a good intercooler, you will need one.

Also, it's wise to put an oil cooler on the motor too, as once turboed, you no longer have a normal falcon, you have a turbo car which means syth oil and changed ever 5000kays or less... and dont rev it past 5000 if you want it to last
