looking for 0-100 is supercharging a better way to do this because of the no turbo lag?
if so would anyone recomend the twin screw as it seems to have no lag like a centrifugal superhcarger but has more air flow then a superhcarger such as an eaton

Whats your budget?
Twin screw superchargers are expensive. |

Then you need to buy the s**t to fit it all or make your own adapter plate to intake manifold setup.
It will need to be intercooled to run that much boost. How much power do you want? 0-100 times mean nothing. A rwd car with decent power cant get traction on the street on regular street tyres doing under 100 anyway. If you want to build on it I'd go turbo. $5k would get you a decent turbo and manifold running with a cheapo 12:1 fuel reg for fueling. The supercharger options are limited to lower power levels in that price range and apart from Snort's new whipple kits (which are still being made) no-one does a twin screw. Turbo it then do ECU, injectors, bottom end, transmission as stuff breaks. Choose a correctly sized turbo and lag wont be much of an issue. |

compression has already been raised in my car tho to something like 11.5 according to someone
i would say something more like 10.5 well i dont have a drag strip so 0-100 is all i have i will worry about traction when i have the power what boost do u recomend that wouldent need intercooling? im not fussed on thr rwkw more so i want all of my useable power from 0-100 but i would like to have a massive kick of power if i flawed it also not a fan of the turbo sound and the whole spool thing either

Maybe you can get an electric supercharger? They dont make turbo noises or spool up and are cheap.

whats your supercharger like when you go to flaw it?

lol @ 17yo that wants boost for no money.
Do some research in the other threads here, find out there's no such thing as cheap. I've got a turbo kit that's for sale, come in under your budget too. But if must be a hoon on public streets, only care about 0-100 and want cheap. go NOS. (it'll get the gangas wet too).

i dont think you will get your car turbo/supercharged reliably under 5g ..
the cheapest would be centrifugal kit.. even then with any added things like tuning, intercooling exhaust ect.. things add up fast.. then you will have problems with how much can your 15 year old gearbox and diff handle.. then you have a car that accelerates fast but now you need to stop it.. also how many kms are on your engine?? if its an old engine with alot of kms a poor tune will kill it fast... so in my opinion be prepaired to spend atleast 8 to 10g |

That's a good point, but it definitely can be done, but as I said, not reliably and doing everything yourself. Things like a 3in exhaust and stuff like that wouldn't be covered but you could definitely get a small entry level turbo running on an e series for $5K.
