Can anybody help me getting an estimate for a value of what I think is a T4 turbo.

I bought a complete engine package from an RX-7, but the turbo is way to big for my application, thought it might suit a bigger motor like a falc.

Anyway, seems to be in very good nick, no fore & aft play, minimal side play (normal for a fluid bearing turb) Its genuine garrett.

Are there any turbo shops around melb that will check and value it for me?

what brand turbo. if its a garret and in good condition prob. around 1000 bucks. but most people who buy 2nd hand turbos get them rebuilt before they go on the motor so you generally get less for them

I got mine looked at by Eastern Turbochargers in Bayswater. The bloke stripped my turbo down, checked it all out and yeah was good..

He didnt even charge me, yay
