Heyy! Jus got a few questions as im in the dark with tha whole ford + turbo thingy. Ive recently had an A70 3.0GT Supra and am selling it as Im wanting to turbo my EF. I have a Garrett T76 turbo and Tial 50mm gate so I am atleast a bit of the way there :p Any idea on what sort of internal mods i will have done to the motor? Im thinkin of running mild boost for now. lol wish i could use my set of denso 550cc injectors but i highly doubt it! hahaha anyways does anyone know anyone in WA that has experience in turbo conversions for falcons?? Anyone from wa ever gone to turbotech?? Anyone running anythin bigger than a T76 on here?

standard motor will be fine on 9psi for about 200ish rwkw if its tuned right.

You can easily put upto 10psi on a std bottom end, the only thing thats going to kill it is detonation, and due to the EF running coil packs theres no real easy way to retard the timing under boost. You will need to make sure its running richer than it needs to to help prevent detonation.
You might want to contact pete (XR9Ute) and maybe the boys at BPT for some help / advise on the tuning side of things.

Yer I was talking to Terry about it before but maybe rather someone in perth who has done this. XR9UTE is the one with the injected 351 right? A/M ecu should cure the problem? Aswel as a set of bigger injectors and a rising rate regulator right?

Have a read of {DESCRIPTION}

Its a different car but many similarities and an a/m ECU is needed for more than 200rwkw.[/url]

most ppl in perth with turbo falcons do the work them self. a few guys get there piping and tuning done at "ova boost" in malaga. the standard bottom end should be fine for 300rwkw but u might wanna stick a au head gasket in there berfore u start. to get 300rwkw i will need a good cam and a little head porting work. t76 is a bit ova board but its ur choice. most of us use a gt3540 or t66, t04z.

ive been running 13psi in my sotck engine for a while now and it still runs strong. im gonna stick it up to 15psi when my cam goes in.

yes u will need an aftermarket ecu!

Yeah sounds a lil overboard. But i purchased the turbo for 1k, 2 months old it was bought from GCG for 3 k so it'd be a waste of an awsome turbo if i wasnt to use it lol it was originally goin on my supra but i had more plans for the falcon. Can i ask how much your nizpro plenum cost?

In Perth, or WA?? :P

Defenitely good to see some more turbo 6s around.

I think the S/C XR6 has you all beaten as far as I am aware, although his budget has been a lot bigger. :D
