howdy guys after searching the net for water to air intercooler setups, i came across these, called thermal hard pipes, they could be used with a air to air intercooler setup as well, they come in different sizes etc, what sort of effect in temp loss would you think they would produces.

Surely in order to cool the air it would have to restrict the air inorder to have it there long enough too cool - otherwise wouldn't the air just blow straight through it too quick to actually cause a temperature drop?
also, since it runs on the cars cooling system and not a seperate water system, it can only ever cool the air to the same temperature as the radiator - which might not actually be that cold.
just two thought i'm wondering about after looking at it...
