ive FINALLY got around to pissing off all the messy ford wiring from the inner guard, ive wanted to do this for a couple of years now

Pics!!! What exactly did you do to it all?? I used the relays when i did my engine conversion and found them very handy.

You got heaps of time to finish the manifold and plumbing. Dont you have/want anyone to give you a hand?? I like the idea about the power steering, where did you find the electric pump. I am gonna go and suss it out, nice one!!

Looking good man, keep it up

gone with 1.25 again.. theres no real physical way to fit 1.5 into the collector or anywhere alongside the motor, the radius is heaps bigger..

I ran all the wiring outside of the guard. first i took out any wires no longer needed, then drilled a hole next to the master cyl and ran them down the chassis rail, the relays are now behind the indicator area, just extended each wire one by one until it was rejoined, the wiring then runs back in just behind the headlight... I can see why i put off doing it for ages, it was a prick of a job, took much longer than anticipated

oh yeh, some people seem to think that 1.25 is to small for 400rwkw+.

mrd who built tufed6's car highly recommended 1.5"!

but i think the only why to find out is to make up a pressure sensor, hook it up to the sm4 and do some logging.

have u got around to upgrading your chip in the sm4 yet?

ill will be upgrading when i am ready to install my new motor.

i dont have a problem making another manifold for back to back testing, its just time isnt on my side, after its going and done the show and shine im looking to go in, then ill maybe make a 1.5 to try.

as for the sm4 chip, i havent heard or looked into autronic for a while, not since ray hall left. whats the new chip number, and what benefits??

That's a rather sexy looking manifold there. Just one question. Why did you have the outer runners from the head merge onto the outside of the collector and the inners merge on the inner side?
I would have thought that conventionally the outer runners on the head end up on the inside of the collector and the inners from the head flow to the outside of the collector. My guess for that convention would be that most of the bends aren't as sharp and its not all that far off being tuned length.

Either way I'll be looking forward to the power producing potential of this work of art.
