a mate of mine is building a torana with a stroker and it will be running autronic or motec, he is the one who tuned my car and he wants to buy my 55's and get two more for his 8. Plans to buy them in about 2 weeks and soon as ive sold them i can buy the 72's
how much was the lsm11 sensor?? the innovate wideband meter i have is perfect, works brilliantly, they are also fairly cheap. $500ish. They use a bosch lsu4.2 wideband sensor, or, can run a ntk uego sensor if you want (the ntk is the best you can buy)

Hey just wondering about injectors, me ED is at 70% duty for about 260wkws, they are 550cc injectors so that compare's well to whats being discussed here, BUT I now know a few guys with 42lb injectors in BA/BF XR6T's that re all getting around 300-320wkws and others with stock injectors (30lb ?) that have 260-270wkws.
Whats going on? |

yeh im not sure wat the go is ay??? i was only reading a ford performance mag today and there was a ba xr6t with 327rwkw, using bosch 968's and they are 42lb. and if i remember right pyroay was making over 300rwkw with his ev6 390cc injectors

can the flow be measured at different flow capacities?
for example.. a 550cc injector might be said to be a 550cc injector at 100% duty cycle whereas a 440cc injector might be said to be 440cc at 80% duty cycle if ya get my meaning? |

fuel pressure.

yeh fuel pressure has alot to do with, realy the duty cyle is right but u can often phush them way past wat they are rated with high full pressure

maybe the 6t's run higher fuel pressure?? i dare say the ba/bf would be a lot more efficient engine aswell, therefore, with 4 valve head and nicer chambers, you can make the same power with less air and fuel required
and 390cc injectors, run at 45psi will only be good for around 230kw at the flywheel... i cant see any way you would make 400kw with them...

I'm running 360cc injectors with 260 rwkw. Looking at the datalogging, the injectors are at about 95%, thats at 40psi base fuel pressure with a 2-1 regulator.

also, the difference in injector flow from %85 duty upwards is very minimal

thats why you are managing to do it.... rising rate regs should be avoided, you will be looking at 70psi fuel pressure at 15psi boost.. pump flow drops off with increased pressure, what sort of pump have you got???

I'm running a Bosch 044 external pump. Only running 10 psi at the moment, so it would be around 60 psi fuel pressure. Still to high I know, but I didnt have any other injectors to use when I had it tuned. I've got a set of 550cc injectors to put in next tune. When that happens I want to get rid of the 2-1 regulator...

Might also be the way the ford ecu controls the injectors, and yeah, theres no real difference in the amount a fuel they flow at 80 or 100%. The ecu in the BA wont allow the injectors to flow over 80% apparantly.
Are you running full sequetial injection ebs_4lt? |
