I was going to ask a question about the G-Force a*** but I've just stumbled upon this article I thought I would share: http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2005 ... /index.php

There is also a link to get a PDF manual for the T5 which could be handy for backyard rebuilds.

as for pistons, the i have acl race series, although the std ones are strong too, but id have doubts in going past 320kw with them, 300rwkw for the 4l seems to b a walk in the park...

glad you got the hi-6 working fritzz, i love mine, it is a really nice ign system, the only other one i would buy would be the autronic 500R, although it is $1000, it is the best you can buy... most powerful...

my mongrel t5 is still going, only because i havent given it any s**t in 3rd gear, well, it WAS a perfectly quiet box, until i had too take a couple of mates for a spin, and gave it ONE full throttle run through 3rd, right to the limiter, and guess what, now its started a small whine.... same as last time.. it'll get a bit noisier before it blows, but im going to hold back on it until i can get a gforce a*** organised... gotta pay my SNAP-ON account first... damn tools

well, fritzz, until you pull ya finger out and start winding up that t04z, and make some decent power, mine is going to stay how it is for now.... LOL

i have no plans at this stage on ANOTHER injector upgrade, hell, if i push it any further i'll be up for a friggin fuel pump upgrade too... that will start running out next... and im really not wanting to go through the whole re-tuning process with the bigger injectors again.... that sucks

P.S, i can predict right now that you will be in need of an injector upgrade before your done aswell, and you have already had one upgrade.... haha

yes the t04z will be getting wound up in a few weeks, im probaly just gonna tell glenn that i want 300rwkw and i dont realy care how much boost it takes. and will sett low boost for around 8-10 psi.

im pritty happy with the crane ignition to, but i have one problem with it. it makes my radar detector go nuts. i just continusly beeps with a laser alert, but lucky on the bel rx65 u can turn of the signals u dont want it to pick up.

i just had a lucky find yesterday my dad come home with a cataloge with TKO 600 5 speeds for a very cheap price, lets just say its over $1000 cheaper than what malwood would sell it. :D :D

Where from? Malwood are pretty expensive...

Is this what you're looking at Fritzz? http://www.5speedtransmissions.com/tr-3550.html

just some update pics for yall... ive finished development on it for now, havent done anything with the box, havent built a forged engine, just driven it... done 2000km with turbo now, and is going geat, hasnt missed a beat, i just went out to check my spark plug burn patterns, all is SPOT on, extremely even colour match, thats when i decided i needed some new pics..

its running 16.5psi, and making roughly 350-360rwkw, thats about 640HP at the flywheel. hasnt been on dyno since it was on 15psi, on that 38 degree day it made 335kw, with extreme inlet temp... going to make a water sprayer for my cooler next i think..

i cant really find the appropriate thread to ask this in, but was there any reason to switching the overflow to the can? and moving it?
or was it just having more "out of the way".
also, would i be able to ask where you purchased it from?
cheers

removing the battery tray basically involves removing the braket for the reservoir, so it had to go... even if it didnt HAVE to go, i still would have gotten rid of it anyway, they suck... looks lots nicer like it is

i made that can myself, purchased the billet machined neck from A.R.E, used -6 speedflow ally weldon nipples, and some 2.5in ally tube, and put it all together..

there is actually two parts to my system, as it is now running as a recovery system, i made an overflow tank aswell, if you look in the bottom pic, to the right of the air filter you can see the top of something, thats the overflow tank.

WELL, its happened again.............

blew 3rd gear again today, that was only the 3rd attempt of running through 3rd gear on full boost (16.5psi)

it will be off the road until i am able to come up with some coin to have something stronger in its place.... think straight cut dog box T5
