Ok so i would normal use the search but its not working apparently. Im putting my xr into retirement soon and going to start hunting for a phoon motor to slap in. I know about the K-frame "adjustment" and possible bonnet. Im going to put a T5 or if im keen make the 6 speed manual fit. Fitting it isnt really the issue, but i was more conserned about gettng it to start. AS in ECU and Fly by wire, was just wondering what people out there have done, boosted or not, to get it going.

Have talk with Darren at FTG

He's just got a 6 speed manual FG XR6 turbo in

They have EXACTLY same motor as the BF MKII Phoon

I believe Darren also knows someone who can sort something out with the computer

Oh k will do thanks heaps for that. All im really conserned about is dropping it in and working out that i cant get it going, you can make anything fit, but getting it to run properly is another story.
