So heres where i stand,

Im thinking of purchasing a Snort Performance Stage 2 turbo kit... But if i do fork out the odd 3.5K for it, where do i go to install it? I need someone who knows what they are doing, in melbourne.

If anyone thinks this isnt a good idea, what do you suggest for turbo installation? and where should i go?

Cheers guys

Where are you located?
I'd get a few quotes first, as the price will most likely blow out and even then, bank on having a lot more cash
If your're near Preston check out XTC in charles street

I live in mckinnon, fair way away from there. Have you turbo charged? Got any other places?

XTC used to be a sponsor on here.

But they arent anymore.

Where is mckinnon?

I'd check out rank rotary. They did mine a few years ago. Dynomotive is also good.

TBH if i was you I'd do it yourself. The only hard part is tapping the sump, making cooler piping and joining the exhaust up. The rest is bolt on stuff.

I think snort offers an install service if you live near him.

If you suck at throwing spanners around a raptor supercharger kit might be worth your while. DIY install in 3 hours and half reasonable gains.

A lot depends on the condition of the car, auto/manual

I've currently got 210atw on an STA blower but yet to dyno new motor, thats with a fair bit:
injectors, intercooler, fuel pump, crow cam, performance head, pod at a s**t load more, If your interested browse the forums as this has been covered.

There's a cruise down to St Kilda this thursday night if you want to come for looksie and maybe a spin

PM if you want the details

cheers Jordan

I think raptor kits were around 5k or 7k one of them

No, Dan XTC didn't do anything for me, got a quote for a turbo off him.
