running the cooling lines for the turbo from the thurmostate housing to the turbo then from the turbo to the coolant surge bottle..from what i have read on here is the corect flow set up is this the same way the ba turbos run there lines ......................or is there a better way for max coolant flow

That's not how ba's run.
One line goes to the pipe in front of the thermostat. The other goes in the pipe just behind the water pump. |

this is what i mean, i read heaps of other post and replys most of them are saying to run it from the thurmo to the turb them to the surge bottle .i think the best way of sorting this bs out is to visualy have a look at one on a turbo ba to be sure.i think u are on the money there but will have a look at one just to be sure thanks any way for the comment............

Check the new Precision turbo's .. They are ballbearing and oil, air cooled..
No water required... They have shaft bearings also.. A Precision 2626 go for under $1k...650 -700+ h.p ...

I have looked at a BA and have even bought the pipes from Ford for an engine I used to have. I have the water pump pipe in the shed now still...... The only BS part of it is that the BA's run to the overflow bottle. They dont. Some people run a coolant line there but thats not how Ford does it on the BA's. |
