Has anyone had any experience with upping the power on either the V6 turbo diesel engines or turbochrging the V6 petrol engines on the courier utes? I heard that diesels run really high fuel pressures and this can cause problems with trying to modify them at all.
My bro worked on a real nice courier the other day (kind of minitruck style but nicer) and it was for sale. I was wondering how they would go if lowered (with drop spindles) and given performance tyres etc. and a more powerful engine. And whether the fact that it was a 4wd version would matter.

It's my first topic so if it doesn't belong here or i've done something else wrong or whatever then i'm sorry.

well common rail diesel do run high pressure about 1200 bar plus. now best way to get more power is really just up the boost a little although most run around 13 or so psi. depending on compression ratio. some diesels are happy to have a bit more boost in them but some ecu's see it and go nope shut down. so u would have to look at that
