Yea mate I'd cat it back just a little from the compressor housing..You could heat that up via the heat shield..There are turbo plankets you can buy for $150.00 ..Shielding is better as it doesn't hold heat in..

Yep, I'll do that. I spoke to GCG and they said it all covered was fine but I will cut it back a bit to be safe.
Was going to get a blanket but the engineer said shielding must be metal as per a standard turbo car. Hopefully this will satisfy him |

yeh it probably was. not many xr8' get turbo-ed so it more than likey was. did you see it go. not bad for just a turbo and cooler. he had an extra injector installed from and rx8 but its currently not being used coz the car is running rich as is. i went from 131kw N/A to 207Kw Forced. next time i see him i try and get some pics to be posted up
