standard crank can stay, balanced, crack tested etc
rods can also stay or you could go Atomic, spool etc
obviously block would need to be tested for core shift, cracks etc then main bearing tunnel line bored, decked square etc etc
pistons could go many ways, Atomic etc, altho ebs_4l has seen 530rwkw on cast ACLS.....
some serious headwork and valve springs 130psi seat pressure
cam from Surecam, aprox .550" lift, 290 duration, 112 LS
turbo would want to be sumthing like a GT4202r, or mabey a T51r
tubular manifold from snort etc, sum people will say 50mm runners but they are perhaps not needed, plenty of succesful combos running 40mm or smaller

ideal ecu will vary but a J3 chip is definatly out at this level IMHO, Autronic, motec, EMS mabey?

Snort are making some realy nice plenums now, or a Nizpro BA turbo one will be good

biggest injectors you can get your hands on 1000cc plus

crane HI6 ignition seems a popular choice

you will need a surge tank fed by a bosch 040 or similar, then two external pumps, bosch 044 etc,

1/2'' fuel lines or 2 smaller 5/16'' lines, custom fuel rail with feeds on both ends and return line out in the middle

forget any gearbox ever intended for your car, T56, Tremec TKO, or a supra R154

c4 auto, built to every bolt

gona want a 4'' exhaust

price all up? think 15-20grand minimum

i can not see in any way that it could cost 50K to build a 500rwkw falcon motor.
he's already got the driveline and fuel system sorted all he needs is a motor and the turbo parts to go onto it

A motor to handle 500rwkw will cost $6-10k, fuel system - $4.5k, turbo setup + manifold - $6k. exhaust - $3k, ECU + Tune - $4k, ignition setup - $2k, box to handle power - $5k, tailshaft - $1.5k, diff to handle power - $5k. There is $37-41k.

plus unexpected things going wrong and small other bits not mentioned easy $5k
500rwkw is not a small amount of power mate, add another 10k to get the power to the ground properly.
trust me mate if it cost under $20k id have 500rwkw already

Yes, a cooler to handle that much power - $2k, Cooler piping assuming 3" stainless - $1k. The 6-10k for the motor is if you do 90% of the work, otherwise, expect $10-15k. So $45-50k EASY! that is without even thinking about making the car stop, which is another $5-10k.

you have a 2 piece tail shaft and lsd standard, he doesn't, plus i mean so disrespect with this at all but i cant imagine you give would flog the beast off the line to often, ive herd of lsd's dying after about 250rwkw or so

When did EB XR's come standard with a 2 piece shaft? With 500rwkw, I'd be building the entire car as strong as possible.

I know for a fact it costs well under 50k to get over 500rwkw and 143+ MPH

Anyway, buy the kit "hiboost" is selling, it's proven and not a bad price for what it is. It's in the for sale section.

And if your asking all these questions you got no chance, this is a dreamer thread and I'd put money on this never happening. But i'd be stoked if I was proved wrong.

Some of the above advice is a load of crap, call a workshop who's been involved with a 500rwkw falcon, they'll tell you how it is.
