Hey,
Does anyone have turbo kits for the I6? If so, how much, and how much power? |

I'd try and use a bigger turbo though...

Got a few kits going depending on what you want, one:
Turbo manifold made from 4mm steam tubing, Garrett T40B, external waste gate, 12-1 Fuel pressure regulator, blow off valve, braded oil line and T piece which taps into the oil pressure sender, and dump pipe down to the CAT. You will need to get someone to either modify your CAT or get an after market one to attach to the dump pipe. All this can be yours for $2500. Just keep in mind, if you want to be running 5psi or above you will need an intercooler. Also other things to consider, boost gauge, turbo timer, a few vacuum lines, intercooler piping, maybe upgrade to an larger exhaust, some time on a dyno to get the fueling right. With all that you should be able to run 8psi all day with no problems. I know a guy with the same kit on an EB who is running up to 10psi, and the only problems he is having is excusive tier wear.. Can change the turbo to a T04E or even a Super T70 if you want, but they cost a bit extra, and they wont really improve performance if you just running a standard engine.. Cheers Tim |

Its not the std engine that limits power its the fuel and tuning...
42 Lb injectors, programable ecu, fuel pumps to supply to expected power level...

With the standard injectors and fuel pump these kits are fueling correctly. We have found that the rising rate regulator actually needs to be bleed off a bit as they run too rich.

One of these kits would be a great starting place for good HP

your after 250 Front Wheel KWs?
For 250 you will need to add an ecu, big injectors (450ccplus), intercooler of good size and flow (600x300x75 is good), full exhaust, larger fuel pump (044) and some good tuning... not hard though, just a few grand more |

Pity the email address on their site bounces.

We have dynoed a few of the cars with these kits and all have come back with around 170-180 RWKW, from a stock engine. Dyno figures are a little funny, there has been a bit of discussion already on the inconsistency between different dynos. These figures were reached using a Dyno dynamic Dyno, not in shoot out mode. When they do dyno comps they generally use what is called Shoot out mode, which will give a higher RWKW reading. I'm not to sure about the science behind the shoot out mode, but I'll get my car dynoed in the next few days in this "shoot out" mode and find out the reasons for the higher reading..
