Dude the turbo does not take that long to spool. By 70 kays you should be howling up the revs by then.

still doesn't make sense mate
i cant see a BA needing much more than 3000rpm to make full boost
unless this guy was cruising around in second then it doesnt add up.

until you have driven the car yourself its very hard to actually describe how boost comes on as you arent in control of the car...

Maybe the BA is tuned so the boost comes on slowly to put less stress on the drivetrain?

333rwkw is pushing the friendship with early BA rods.

well iv been in my mates car and its all nice untill say 50-60 then turbo really kicks in altho me and him at the lights i beat him up to 70-80 then when he comes back he comes back hard and kills me

same with a bf xr6t the other night

il have to ask about how it is tuned

but my mates not worried about the drivetrain as his gearbox is on the way out already( btr)

could just be a s**t tune, he is from adelaide, everyone is toasted there 24/7.
couldn't use the wideband on the dyno because he'd made a bong out of the sensor pipe?

Check my video of my 4l mustang, tell me if you think this is laggy?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_MZD_PPX0s

El 4L stock with ebay gt45 turbo rated over 1000hp.

Its laggy abit through first but every other gear is sweet,

It only make 10 psi at 4500rpm throught 1st gear, but doing 60k in 2nd it will be at 10psi at 3000rpm as there is more load on the turbo. 3rd gear is the same makes 10psi at 3000rpm
