Slowly getting around to selecting what type of turbo to put on the ghia.. Just a couple of questions about compressor maps 1. If i was to say set 4 points to check the map, highway cruising, 2/3 throttle @ say 2700rpm, full throttle @ 3500rpm and full throttle @ 5000rpm how would i change the equation to factor in i am only using 2/3 or 1/3 throttle??? Probably a dumb question but i just cant find the answer..... Also on the compressor map it is best obviously to get into the centre ring but does it also matter @ what rpm the compressor is spinning and if so what difference does it make

Cheers

yes you could use the T70, is it a turbonetics T70 or a masterpower T70?

They use the MP T70's on 302's and do quite well, the turbonetics T70 is a bit bigger.

The GT35R is the ducks guts for a street performance engine, the GT42-68 would be ducks guts for a race only setup, although it would prob still spool OK.

OR you could get a turbo off BAXR6T from wreckers, but they are internally gated, you may experience boost spiking with the internally gated units.

to4z rated 100hp bigger, probably fairly well the same mechanically, and to4z is a fair bit dearer from memory, gt35r $1750 to4z $2400, but dont quote me on that
