hey all....

Im getting an EL XR6 in a couple of weeks and its duel fuel. Now...i want to turbo the car BUT i want it to run on straight gas. Is it possible to turbocharge the xr6 and take the fuel tank out of the car and just run it on gas?

Will i get better power if i run the xr6 on straiught gas when i turbo it?

I just dont want to run the car on pets cause of the rediculous prices these days....

Cheers

Yeah you can do that. I would leave the petrol system intact unless you REALLY have to remove it.

You can try to set it up on your standard gas system, I will explain how if thats what you want to do.

Power wise it comes down to what you want to spend, and who you want to believe.

If so then take the $6000 + it's going to cost to turbo your car and use it to drive it for the next 4 years on petrol!

Lol - don't turbo your car for fuel economy!
