Yep I'll second that - get something from a shop either new or reco'd - some place you at least have some guarantee...nothing worse than plumbing it all up and have the 'heart' of your project fail on you - spend once and do it properly if you can. You do get what you pay for IMHO.

That variable vane s**t is for diesels and there is no way you can control them..
Save $1800 and buy NEW off www.gcg.com.au Trust me it can cost nearly that just to overhaul an old one...

Why do they all state the turbos are brand new when they are rusty and obviously used?

Save your cash and buy a decent new turbo. GT3540's are as cheap as $1600 now new, with a warranty.

Im sick of seeing people who want a cheap option when turboing their falcon. There is no cheap answer.

If you cant afford at least $3-6K on mods then dont bother.

Dude, buy a decent turbo... there's no a*** way of doing it and getting a decent result... if there was, we would all have done it.

GCG has some excelent deals on GTs and Tial gates... or atleast an internal gated GT
