Can all be different..The turbo generally will have more overtaking power..
My old turbo XR8 STILL kills my FG GTE ... Turbo V blower.. Over 20 years technology between the two.. OK the GTE can be tuned to have more power too... Both can...

Regardless of what power adder you are running the most affective boost controller is the throttle itself. Either way, PD or centri the supercharger has to take power from the crank to drive. Depending on how the PD is rigged will determine how it builds boost through the range, but it will still not be able to achieve boost in the midrange like a turbo does. *all things remaining equal* means the same throttle position, in a car that weighs the same, running the same peak boost levels with the same engines and mods etc etc. A car with an 11 psi turbo engine *all things remaining equal* will be faster than an 11 psi supercharged engine. The super will have better throttle response, due to its direct drive relation to the rpm of the engine, rather than waiting for enough expanding exhaust gas to spin the turbine up to speed.

Yep waiting for turbo to spool or threshold .. Its NOT like the N/A or off boost part of the engine is underpowered .. As often it will just break out in wheelspin anyway..
Latter model cars have traction control etc etc.. Any good boosted engine can have enough grunt to loose your licence in no time..

That's what I would be using. Source the kit 2nd hand. was good for 230rwkw un intercooled on my BF, cost $3800 including SCT and custom tune. |
