ill do the ecu injector fuel reg and pump later on
have many people started off like this is it worth it? what power figure will i be looking at
is it possible to leave the fuel system stock for now i no i wont get as much power but will my engine be fine?
how much doese it normaly cost for the oil lines and to get the oil line to the sump taped in ?

What do you mean by the cheap way?, are you looking at a snort/capa kit or buy things as you go

Have a look at the sticky- (chefs)

oil lines = around $200

how are you going to do this like this little illurstrution i done on ms paint

i can like only picture you doing it this way with out running intercooler and without moving the battery and using a EF / EL / AU / BA airbox.. using it oppisote to what it was made for

Why use the EL box there at all ?

might as well put a BBM on lock the butterfly's open or remove and just run the pipe straight over the motor.

Good MS paint attempt - love the custom graphics on the rocker cover :D

well i assume you would use a el or ef or AU airbox as the EA log manifold would onto the bottom (were the snorkel would be) and the tubing from the turbo would gointo the lid pretty much OPPOSITE from how the box would be normally....

other then that i can't see how you would do this with out an intercooler running under neath the front of the car joining the turbo to TB that seems normal.

I dont think he wants to use an Airbox in a boosted application, just for a pod for the inlet for the turbo.....
An airbox would do nothing to hold boost....

An Intercooler isnt necessary either, a bloke over here (eed-250) Ran a low 13 in a non intercooled set up.

For a non intercooled setup under 8psi you can get around 180-200 rwkw, better results with a tune.

A snort or 6boost manifold are cheapish, Even a "J pipe" from the stock manifold will do, then from the compressor a bit of 1 ft long pipe from the turbo to the throttle body if you have the BBM on.

Fuel system should be fine for 8psi or less. Battery box might have to be moved if you want to box in the pod otherwise the entry might be too long.

I'd be more worried about the tune to be honest, A lean out will have you picking up the pieces.

A decent sized turbo won't heat up air too much...
So keep to a decent sized compressor, atleat Gt35.... Budget for a Stinger EMS and atleast 30Lb injectors.. The std ecc doesn't realy read boost and doesn't retard timing on boost.. Without this facility the engine is on short time reliability... Same with enrichment of fuel under boost...
Adding 50/50 water and meth you can get away without intercooler.. BUT why they are SOOOoo cheap on e bay, a big one will work even if its Chinese .....Check ebay there are often kits or cars there ???

We are coming in to winter so you'll have a few months to get it sorted before Intercooling it.
Have a red hot go mate why not.

how can you say im pretty sure im gonn turbo your EA ,either your gonna do it or ya not ,im sick of all these people on here who are "GONNA" turbo this or "GONNA" turbo that ,stop kidding ya self and read the 11billion pages that people before you have already written on everything you wanna know .

Do your research.
and if you cant find the answer's then post a new thread.

unless you have like $8000 + to do it right i wouldnt bother. yeah people have done it on the cheap ,but they have nothing on a full blown turbo setup with money spent on good parts . do it right the first time or dont do it at all thats my 2c it will save you $$ in the end .

if you wanna do it ,ask at your mechanics how much things are going to cost . prices are different everywhere .and only the person who is going to fit your stuff will know those answer's .

jb.
