Hey Guys,
i was thinkin of Turboing my lil baby (2003 BA XT) and i was sorta debating on turning it into a Twin Turbo? would that give much performance boost? What size and PSI Turbos? Major engine work involved? and should i stop being a d!ckhead and just supercharge? Thanks for your input in Advance |

Twin turbo is going to COST you big $$$.
Don't bother with a supercharger, a turbo is a much more effective way to go on an inline 6... |

the money situation is all good... due to i'll be working at the mines soon. hence why i was thinking TT and just use the EL Fairmont that i bought for my partner as a streetcar and use the BA as a show car

You would probably have to put in the xr6t pistons to lower compression. You would be better off going the single turbo and doing the usual NA mods to fill in the gap of turbo lag and also save petrol and engine life.

i'll probably go with that anyways to save fuel and the engine... it just won't be street legal... doesn't mean i won't take it out every now and then and axe some crumbidores.

meh. TT ain't worthe effort. You can get better power figures with a big single turbo, and with the right mods to the BA engine you'll be able to counteract the lag it will create.
There's a reason people convert their GT-Rs and Supras to single turbo... bigger power, easier. |

I'd explore a SC kit before I tried to do a turbo XT, especially when there is a factory turbo version!
It'd be cheaper and easier to just buy an XR6T at auction and put an XT front on it! Least a blower will be a bit different

yeah... know what you mean
my counsin and i did an engine transplant into a 75 series cruiser ute... looked awesome Catapiller D1 Dozer engine in a land cruiser... talk about towing power... and his was a show ute... hence the Show Falcon idea... going to get the ford logo put on the doors with flames airbrushed off of it i hope. |

If you want a show car, id go twin-t's just to make it a little different from all the others out there.

Wolf3D ecu, 2 x GT3540, Walbro Pump, Barra 120T engine block, Stage 2 Cam, SSV Ram air intake, K & N Pod Filter May need to do some Tranny and Diff work. and need to think about injectors and Intercooler... any suggestions? |

you wouldn't need a whole new engine block, their the same i believe. Same material, just diff pistons.
