I think that blue cortina with the plates BWARND has a clevo in it. Some people reckon its a windsor block with just a set of cleaned up 4V clevland heads but I'm pretty sure its all clevland. That thing has run an 8.1 so the results speak for themselves.

Twin T04's or big T'3's for street use ..T3's will make 250 to 300+ h.p each...But T04 with external wastegates would be better...
Having said that I have T3's hybrids...on 330w..

The only thing Cleveland is the 4V heads, 351W Dart block stroked out to 400CI, produces over 1232hp, that is something you wouldn't want to try in any factory Cleveland block. I will go looking for the article, it was in Performance Ford I think. I will cheat, someone else has a magazine(?) article on their website, here is the link to it. http://www.crackfoo.com/cortina/pics/BWARND/bwarnd8.jpg

Na mate its running turbo's!!! They DON'T run that quick due to lag etc...Lol...
Though I have NEVER said that!!! Yes two GT3040 turbo's would well and truely do the job!! At over 500 h.p each and costing $2500 each as well...Depends on how much money and expected power levels..?? I love the way that Cortina launch's ...Awsome...

Awesome, I want see it in the flesh, a consistent car wins drag races. I was wondering why they used 4V heads not aftermarket alloy but it is most likely the reliable issue. One of the reasons I won't be running alloy when I get there, I have the opinion of disliking alloy heads on cast iron blocks (got from replacing heads and head gaskets to many times) and I reckon for the minimal power loss, and the extra weight gets overlooked when there is less problems with corrosion and head gaskets.

Umm yes but turbomustangs.com don't have a very good view of the GTP heads either when it come to sealing..
Plus what the guy at a speed shop in California said...Ford when it comes to std 5 ltr rely on gravity to hold there heads down.. Dart and 351 use 1/2 inch bolts little Windsors use 3/8... Study the flow maps.... http://www.gcg.com.au/default_800x600.htm http://www.turbofast.com.au/javacalc.html http://www.gcg.com.au/technical/garrett ... turbos.jpg The 4V heads flow enough pluss they are strong in sealing dept.. afaIk.. Possibly had some good heads lying around? Mind even with E7 heads on 5 Ltr over 450 h.p can be made with turbochargers...
