i think the .86 rear housing is too small, you will find an incredibly early spoolup, but it will be choked.. .86 is good for an rb25, use the 1.06 on the 4l, i hope your wastegate bleeds well

yes , it is too small as the turbo was meant for another application but when its all up and running it will get changed to a bigger one

Yep, turbo will be going back on my escort and this will more then likely get a GT42 / GT45.

I was just looking at the EMS web site and it says the both the 8860 and the stinger both do variable valve timing control, thats the same as VCT isn't it?

I can't see the first pics? Only Engine Bay pics with the BA Engine & the black & white one, looking good, should go well too, I have a soft spot for XF's, having owned two of them..

Yeah the bonnet just touches...

Car is up and running now...just got to sort out a problem with the convertor/box and get it tuned :) not long now :)
