New here so i thought i would post some pics of my xf, well soon to be.

Just thought i would post the daily run around. Or will be daily run around.
Before i continue i have to say a big thanks to by brother for giving the car to me, it was my 21st bday present.(its the second car he has given me, he gave me my Escort aswell, if only he gave the GSR)

Started out as a plain brown stock xf falcon. Car was then slowly stripped by my brother and painted dodge viper blue. My brother prepped the car and then had it sprayed. I made an exhaust manifold, dump pipe and cooler pipes for it, threw a hybrid front mount we had lying around. Had the inlet manifold modified by a mate as i dont have an alloy welder. Engine is stock, except for bolt ons.

Turbo - GT35/66, .86 rear housing
Tial 44mm external gate
Hybrid front mount
3inch exhaust
2.5inch intercooler pipes
EMS computer
600cc injectors
Sard FPR
Bosh 044

Car should be done in a few weeks. The wheels in teh pic are not staying on it, they are just on there so the car can be moved around, im going to put a set of 20's on it. Ill be happy if it makes 200rwkw as it will only be running low boost on a stock motor. Car will be my daily driver until my Escort is finished, then ill take my turbo and gate off and put it onto my escort where its meant to be .

The turbo is basically a GT35 with a 66mm comp wheel. Ive running the .86 rear as the turbo is actually off my escort, but thats still getting built so put it on this.

A mate used to work at a turbo shop and he said that with the 1.06 rear, its basically rated at 800hp, but im not sure what it is with the .86 rear.

The wastegate is just plumbed from the collector with 1.5inch steam pipe. Thanks, the manifold is nothing special...i should have turned up the heat on the tig and it would have come up alot nicer...but ah well.

Only planning on running 6-8psi as going to be a daily car for work etc.

I like the rims that are on it to be honest.. 20" rims might be a too pimpish and blinged out for the XF.. it looks tough as it is!

fritzz - its an off the shelf turbo available from GCG. I would have got it with the 1.06 rear but its going on a 2L.

ANd yeah the colour is dodge viper blue, it was meant for my car but i didnt like it so we wasted it on this car cause i got a new colour for my car.

As for the wheels, they got no chance on staying on there. I had a bad car accident in an xr6 ute with them wheels on it so they are a no go. And im not going for any bling 20's, they are just plain 5 spoke silver 20's but look pretty good on an x series falcon.
