hey folks
sory bit off topic of the mighty falcons
but my falcon is currently undergoing a manual conversion
clutch is done now the rest coming son
ill keep u all up 2 date

but anyways

well my 1987 telstar tx5 is finally home
now starting to work on it
havent got the dump pipe made up yet for the turbo
but it wont start

and some people say i need the oxy sensor plumped into the dump pipe before it will start and others say its not needed but it will just be loud

i may have some electrical issues not sure yet
as none of my lights are working
but could just be a fuse
but anyways
ill keep u all up 2 date on it
nd with the help of all the crew here and my funds it should be up and running in no time

cheers

are you running the right ecu? the n/a comes close to running the turbo motor but one of the pin outs doesnt have a 12v connection..
see if you can find another ecu for it.

yea thanks mate
definately plugged in just not plumbed in as theres no dump pipe on it as such yet being a bigger turbo gotta get a custom dump pipe made

but that shouldnt affect it should it?

Should start fine at least - cause it will be running in cold mode (before the oxy sensor gets hot enough).
