Will running a vortech supercharger on 9psi on a untuned motor or wrongly tuned motor cause excessive blow by like blowing the dip stick out or can it wear the rings so much to cause this proberlem. ??

Was this on the EF falcon or the AU falcon? The AU should boost cut as soon as it reads 1-2psi. The EF will more than likely lean out.

if its tuned right it will be fine...
I had au engine in my ed with a turbo running 12-15 psi for near 4 years with no problems , it was only when I went up to 18psi before blow buy stated to be an issue. |

If you've already run the car untuned, the damage will already be done. You can't put the magic smoke back into the pistons!

Ok cheers what bottom end would u recommend for 9psi au or ef ?? I have a standard ef motor in the shed don't really wanna go buy another au bottom end if I don't have to . I have been told au bottom end are balanced a lot better than ef bottoms ends

I have been told au bottom end are balanced a lot better than ef bottoms ends the au runs higher compression than the ef motor, but they are screwed together a little better than the e series motors, for the amount of boost you wanna run either motor would be ok provided they arent already worn out

AU should be smoother revving. The rods will bend easier than the EF rods will though, but with 9psi you will be fine.
