I've got a 200HP shot wet nitrous system, and everything is all good... my only question is bottle mounting. Does it need any sort of ventitlation since it's in the cabin? what are the ways to go about this?

Cheers

Yes there is a way around this. Go see Mark at Star Performance in Regatta Rd Five Dock and ask him for a ventilation kit for your NOS Bottle. This needs to be installed before the bottle is filled as the valve needs to be removed and the burst disc replaced with the tube that runs to the outside of the vehicle. This is a must for ANDRA if the bottle is mounted in the cabin as in a hatch/wagon.

Ok, cool. Any idea on a price? and what if a bottle is already filled? Guess I'll just have to use it first with the tailgate open :-D

Cheers

Dude, dont do that. If the bottle was to burst the disc due to overpressure 2 things will happen. 1 all the air in the cabin will freeze including the air in your lungs!!!. 2 you will be come unconscious and more than likely crash the vehicle if you are driving. Do not drive with the bottle installed without the vent tube.

Thanks!

no!

the disc burst when there is too much pressure in the bottle ie a saftey valve so it dont explode! it makes a jolly big bang

As I understand it, the safety valve is there, the problem been is that it ventilates straight from the bottle, and in my case into the cabin...

How much do you want to pay for a bottle. I am getting a full new kit for mine and for the right price i would let one of my bottles go with brackets( or i could run 2 bottles lol)
