just letting everyone know that (www.rapidsystems.com.au)is not a trustworthy dealer .i have paid $700 up front for a turbo flapper modification ,turbosmart actuator,and hot side pipping kit . it has now been from 6th March till now 16 th april that i have been waiting for the turbo housing and the actuator .he has said that it got lost in transport (courier )with tracking number .then it finely arrived 2 weeks after ordering it .the turbo housing arrived and the hot side pipping kit .but no actuator in box ? i phoned him where the actuator was he replied it is getting send direct from turbosmart . the actuator has never arrived so far .the turbo housing with the flapper modification was not up to my standards so i phoned him that i would send it back to him (he apologised and yes he will send a new one straight away .i also was concerned about the hot side pipping as it did not look like it was going to work ,he said it will work he had done hundreds of them . every week he has said that the actuator and the new turbo housing has been send ,but it has never arrived . i have send e mail after e mail (where are my parts )he just keeps saying that they will be there tomorrow and do not worry about it its all good mate .last friday he send me a e mail stating that parts have been sent ,and would be there on monday . i then gave him an ultimatum that if they were not here by wednesday that i would take this further (fair trade or lawyer ) so they did not arrive again on wednesday ,and not even a e mail explaining why .i then phoned him his reply was i sent them to you yesterday and that they will be there tomorrow . i then said, thats it ! No more lying to me, whats the go am i ever going to get my parts ,i then said i will phone fair trades i have had enough .i phoned fair trades and they said I can take this further now .i then phoned Chris and told him what i have done ,his reply was i am at post office sending the turbo housing off now ,and the turbo actuator is getting send directly from turbosmart . i then contacted turbosmart direct and they confirmed that this was true .i now have the tracking number of the turbo housing (still got to find out if it is mine or not ) this has caused me a lot of sleepless nights and worry during the day (have i been ripped of again )

geeze... that is terrible service. Flapper looks just like mine.

Are those engine mounts in the pic can you tell me about them?

When my local ford charged me 150 to unlock my radio and said that the job would take 3 hours, I reported them here:

In the end they sent me a check for 100 bucks and the boss rang me up and apologised.. I meantioned that in my WOM report, but I'll bet they are still charging 150 dollars to unlock the radio and claiming it takes 3 hours.

I don't care anymore because I can do it myself now.

yes they are engine mounts .they cost about $300 and are australian made (technico torque master) they are rated to handle over 600 rwk .so they say .look them up and read what it said on there for your own interest .i acutely send him a few e mails and he replied back with some info that made me decide to go with these .

Geez, one of the worst flapper mods I've seen to date. Most places just drill them out now don't they?

the new turbo housing has arrived but it is absolutely stuffed .will post picture very soon .and the actuator has arrived as well .can someone tell me if i can get the housing fixed by someone (flapper does not seal at all, about .5 mm away all the way around wast gate .

and all my studs are missing where can i buy some ?thanks for any help

did you pay by credit card? if so, i'd be trying to cancel the payment, if everything is stuffed. as for studs, try a local bolt joint

i just got to laugh that this can still happen to someone in the year 2014 with all the technology and the internet .at least i was not the first but hopefully the last that will be taken for a ride by him .going to take him to fair trade .would love to know anyone here that had similar experience from Chris the owner .can send me a pm please .
