im turboing my car, EL XR6.
going to be running low boost, under 10psi.

will be a log style manifold with a garrett t04e.

what size wastegate should i be looking at using, does it make much of a difference.
also what brands.

is this one good?

you have to look at what type the manifold will take ,the log style like mine takes the 2 bolt 35-38mm type wastegate,the 2nd link in your other thread is the one your after im pretty sure

That link takes you to a BOV... Not a wastegate

yeh my mistake lol, was looking at BOV's at the same time, my dad is making the manifold so i could put any wastegate on it yeh? because he will weld that flange on, i read another turbo post on the forums and he said he used 38mm wastegate, think ill just go that size.

if your just buying ebay parts use something bigger, you can never have too big of a wastgate.


and instead of buying from ebay, try ssautochrome.com in the US, they are all the same gates, just that its cheaper now from the states, you can get 50mm gates for around 100$ AU delivered, or 38's for like 75$.

id rather by a brand name wastegate, ill get it from the US because the exhance rate is good atm.

most likely ill buy a tial gate, still unsure of size.
