sorry bout the el crappo pic quality

thats the wastegate 'inlet attachment' thingo

its for a Tial 44mm wastegate.


would i have to change that ring/inlet thingo if i was to downsize my wastegate size to, for example 38mm?

i rekn the tial gate has an interchangeable v-flange. so i think it would be ok

awesome. if the worst case happens, ill sell the 38mm (sure ill lose some money, but at least ill have a 44mm gate)

hey ebs, what is the "recommned" mm size governed by? kw? boost?

the bigger, the better.... nothing like having a wastegate too small.

that said, get a 44mm, you will NEVER find the outer limits of what that can flow, basically, the LOWER the boost level, the MORE wastegate flow you need. although, its not entirely that simple, for the fact that the more boost you run, the more exhaust gas you will make, the more you make, the more you may need to vent...

forget the worry and get a decent sized one

i solved the downsizing issue. bought myself a 44m Tial wastegate! haha easy solution

yeh the 44 metre wastegate is needed because ill be running 9 to 10 Bar :P i hope i dont have a fuel issue with my 52 tonne injectors. :P

i only need to get a screamer pipe made up now, and get the gaskets and a few various vacuum lines and such. all downhill now :)
