Hey guys i just got my car up and going good today besides the exhaust side of things.
im running 5.5psi of boost into au engine in ef no name turbo with 1.15 A/R rear and .60 A/R front. no name 38mm wastegate log manifold. Sard rising fuel reg home made intercooler kit universal oil cooler Plans i do plan on relocating the battery to boot within a week or 2 and moving the pod down into the battery tray. make up heat shield for turbo manifold and brake master. you got any suggestions or tips also i wanted to know what fuel pressure do you run for when it idling???? on the blitz bov's whats the top adjustment and what way is what? bov plum off intercooler piping correct?

just worried about the 'no name' external wastegate..
Do you have any type of boost cut??(i ask because u dont list if u have an aftermarket ecu)... I have heard lots of no name stuff (including ext. wastegates) fail all the time and you dont want to overboost the engine.. |

The 90* off manifold for wastegate?? Would be better if it was angled 30* for better flow...Make sure main shaft doesn't lock up shut when it gets hot.. Some cheap wastegates can do that ...Cutting compound to clearance bearing is all thats needded on some...
Mounting aircleaner further forward helps too.. You have just started.. I don't mean to be criticle.. I guess stand alone ecu, 42Lb injectors are following ??

Looks like a nice set up.. But i would have to strongly agree with EBXR8380, you would be better off placing your airpod somewere nice and far away fron the hot air that will be produced from the Turbo and exhaust.

Good stuff looking real good. Yeah your right BOV plums into you intake side of your intercooler pipe. Just one recommendation I would cover your exhaust side of your turbo with a turbo beenie or something as it will melt everything real fast (mine still melts everything with it on) plus keep under bonnet temp down a bit more. And I would also cover your leads they will melt too.

Im on standard ecu right now
im looking at buying some injectors and new walbro pump very soon i got a MSII just need to get coil drivers and few little things before i set that up. Im ganna get some of that ACL head shield from supercheap and make up a few heat shields this weekend. I do plan to move pod to where the battery is located with a head shield and put battery in boot. well im only running a small 5.5 right now so it a bit easyer on the car for now but i will keep a eye on the boost. what fuel pressure do you guys run???? my can is sucking the fuel like a bloody V16 lol no lies i can actually watch the needle move is i boost a whole road lol. so it recommended a set of 42Lb injectors???? how far do they boost up to roughtly? thx jason

Check vac hoses to MAP senser ??
You can only run std injectors with std ecu.. I'd go for atleast 30 Lb injectors, Walbro 255 intank fuel pump, good tune with ecu M/S11 .. Yes 42's would be around 270 / 300 rwkw...

Thx Jason

Looks Good. That maniflod looks just like the one my brother made for my EF.
The standard regulator is rated at 270KPA (39psi) base pressure. If you have 35psi at idle then that is more than standrd so you will be running rich. I would suggest you remove the vacume/boost line that goes from the regulator to the manifold and set the pressure to 39psi then reconnect the vaccum line. This will set the pressure to factory specs and your mixtures should be correct except when you go into boost. I would suggest you wire open the waste gate so it doesn't make boost untill you get the megasquirt fitted. For those who were concerned about the waste gate failing the megasquirt ecu has an overboost cut feature. Cheers Daniel.
