what kinda times are people getting out of supercharger kits for the eg-el 4l and also with what mods?

i ran a 14.3 @ 101 mph, with a raptor supercharger on a au vct engine in my ed, vct dissabled and fitted with a wade au 1645 cam, stock engine otherwise, t5, pacemaker extractors, 3" exhaust, 235/45/18" rims with a full tank of petrol it weighed 1660kg on the wsid weigh bridge..
probably could have done better but.. meh!!!!! lol |

I ran 13.45 on street tyres Kumho 235's at Heathcote a couple of years ago Vortech V2 12 PSI, potential to do 12.7 with street Radials, have a smaller blower pulley on now with 100 Nm more Torque so, chances are low 12's 12.3 or 12.5 could be a reality on street radials.
Straight 6 with a Blower cam BTR 95 LE trans beefed up and Borg Warner 3.45 :1.

How fast do you want to go?
I dont think your average charger setup will get you anywhere near 12's. |

engine is rebuilt already less then 5000k ago already looking into 3.45 lsd or lokka

alright turbo sounds good then what kits would you suggest? i like the look of the liquid cooled plenium of snorts or should i steer clear of snort kits??

Snort kits are fine.
The water to air plenum of his seemed to work mad. He took me for a 15-20 minute drive in his ED with it fitted. Under the bonnet was hot but the intake manifold was cool to touch. They are expensive and I dont know anyone else using one though. You need to pick a power goal then compare that to how much you want to spend before deciding what to buy. |
