The BF will be better all round. So as long as it's been properly maintained (check for logbooks, receipts etc.) I'd pick it.
Some of the major points... - better bottom end (starting in BF, the XR6T's got the same engine as the F6, only difference, is the cooler and factory tune) - BF better build quality - ZF6 is a much better box An '02 BA is really early, so in the following 6 years of life of the B series many improvements and fixes were made. The '06 (depending in month) will be a BF or BF MkII there wasn't many changes in the XR between MkI and MkII, there was a mild face lift (new body kit) for the so called (but not officially) MkIII XRs.

yeah i was thinking so.
This car bf is a company car so im taking it tomorrow for a drive. my father is trying to talk me into a na xr6 but i am hooked for power. It was either a xr6t or an xr8.. Fingers crossed tomorrow goes well Thanks heaps for all your help guys!

Ok guys, just bought my bf xr6 turbo.. and i cant believe how quick it is..
never been used to having a turbo car. This is my first.. and i had to put the plates on her.. Now mods... i know alot of people aint that fond of the vl dose pipe sound but i want to do it.. However, i have noticed with the standard piping and bov that the car is making a slite flutter noise now..???? is my bov f**k?

Your back!!! didnt you have to sell up your old gun metal grey ef falcon on 20s age's ago? if so welcome back... nice stock T.. i see you scored the premium 18 inch XR rim's... the 6SPD ZF and turbo go nice together..
and yes.. i do get the PHHSSST whn i lift off the throttle especialy underload or going up a hill.. and if i nail the throttle and lifty off fast it does go pphhst pssst psssht fast for a second... |
